Nutrition Services
Good nutrition can improve many diseases and health problems such as diabetes, high cholesterol, heart disease, and kidney disease. Even if you have certain dietary restrictions, a dietitian can help you develop an eating plan that suits your lifestyle. Our staff is committed to serving as your coach and partner while providing innovative means to help improve your well-being through what you eat.
The role that food plays in cancer care is vital for the healing and recovery process. As part of the interdisciplinary care received, nutrition counseling is a way to provide patients with individualized nutrition plans to meet their specific needs. Check out this informational video on Nutrition in Cancer Care presented by one of Wooster Community Hospital's Registered Dietitians, Kirsten Kurtz, RDN, LD.
