Being sick or injured is rarely convenient. The NowClinic practice is part of Bloomington Medical Services, an affiliate of Wooster Community Hospital Health System. The practice makes getting quality nonemergency health care easy and convenient so that you can get on with your busy life.

Appointment Self-Scheduling

The NowClinic is primarily a walk-in care practice designed for your convenience. We also offer self-scheduling options on our website and on the WCHConnect app.  For your convenience, you can reserve your appointment through our online scheduling system.

Some of our patients prefer to schedule an appointment to ensure they are seen by our providers within their desired timeframe. You can choose from our daily available appointment times to inform staff of your arrival.  If you need to cancel your reservation or are unable to reach the NowClinic on time, please visit the WCHConnect app or the website to make a new appointment.

We will do our best to see you as close to your scheduled time as possible, but because we must treat patients based on the severity of illness or injury, your appointment time is not a guarantee.

Hours of Operation

• Monday – Friday: 6 AM – 6 PM
• Saturday: 8 AM – 2 PM
• Sunday: 8 AM – 2 PM

We welcome walk-ins; however, please be aware that availability may be limited. To ensure you receive prompt care, we strongly recommend reserving your spot in advance. You can conveniently reserve your appointment through our online check-in system. Kindly note that new patients cannot be accepted more than 30 minutes prior to closing.

The NowClinic walk-in care facility does not see patients 18 months or younger.

NowClinic walk-in care also offers occupational health/corporate care services for employers such as:

• Drug testing

• Physicals
  • DOT physicals (performed by DOT-certified physicians or PAs)
  • Pre-employment physicals
  • Specialized physicals, if needed
• Pulmonary function testing
• Employment vaccinations
• Flu shots and TB testing

In most cases, walk-in care visits cost less than visiting a hospital’s emergency room and is often faster than waiting for an appointment with your primary care provider.

PLEASE NOTE: The NowClinic is not equipped to address critical, life-threatening medical emergencies. Please visit the emergency room or dial 911 if you experience any of the following:

• Chest pain or difficulty breathing
• Weakness/numbness on one side of your body
• Slurred speech
• Fainting or concussion
• Changes to your mental state
• Serious burns and cuts
• Broken bones
• Fever with a rash
• Seizures
• Dehydration or heat stroke
• Fears of miscarriage
• Serious head injury

If your symptoms worsen or you believe you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency, please call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room as soon as possible.
