Biography:
Dr. Prakash Chand is a highly esteemed hospitalist and hepatologist at Bloomington Gastroenterology, board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Chand earned his medical degree from the Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences in Ranchi, Jharkhand, India, and obtained his master’s in surgery from Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru Memorial Medical College in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India. He then went on to complete his Internal Medicine residency at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in Jamaica, NY, and his General Surgery residency at Pt. JNM Medical College in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India.
