Dr. Michael Bortz is a distinguished surgeon at Bloomington Surgical Associates, specializing in General Surgery with a focus on robotic-assisted surgery and endocrine surgery. Dr. Bortz earned his medical degree from the University of Toledo College of Medicine & Life Sciences. He then went on to complete his residency at Baylor Scott and White Memorial Hospital in Temple, TX, and further specialized with an Endocrine Surgery fellowship at NorthShore University Health System in Evanston, IL.
