Wooster Community Hospital’s medical/surgical unit is where our highly skilled nursing staff provides expert physical and emotional care to patients recovering from all types of surgery or a wide range of acute illnesses.

Our caregivers have special expertise in caring for those who have undergone joint replacement or had surgery to repair a fracture. In these cases, our nursing staff works closely with WCH physical therapists to develop an appropriate, individualized plan of rehabilitative care designed to return these patients to leading, safely independent lives once again.
